Sounds and background music have separate buttons: click the pause button on the Music row of the player, or click Pause all.
Why
Sounds and background music have separate controls: pause/stop on the Sounds row only affects sounds and doesn’t stop the music.
How to fix it
- Click the play/pause button in the middle of the Music row (②).
- Or click Pause all (③) to pause sounds and music together.
- You can also give background music play/pause a function hotkey. See Function hotkeys and volume step.
If only background music is playing and you click the buttons on the Sounds row, the player tells you no sound is playing and reminds you to use the pause button on the Music row.
